With the success of last year, we hope to continue helping out all elementary school students in the CCA.

During silent reading, students will identify up to three new or interesting words from their book and write them down. After reading time, students will share their selected words, including what they think each word means or how it was used in the text. This activity builds vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence in explaining ideas to others.
This program supports students in expressing their thoughts and emotions through guided journal writing and drawing activities. Students will develop emotional awareness, clarity of expression, and confidence in communication within a respectful and academically supportive environment.
