The American School of Ulaanbaatar (ASU) is located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. ASU is a private institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), ensuring internationally recognized standards of education.
We follow the Massachusetts curriculum standards, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten (age 4) through Grade 12. Our student body is approximately 85% Mongolian, with the remaining students representing around 20 different countries. Many of our students come from multilingual backgrounds, enriching our diverse learning community.
ASU prepares students for success in English-speaking colleges and universities while fostering the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become intellectually reflective individuals, lifelong learners, caring and ethical citizens, and physically and mentally healthy members of society.
We seek educators who are passionate about teaching and are eager to contribute to a creative, collaborative learning environment within an international school community.
