Homerooms at the American School Ulaanbaatar are designed to provide students with opportunities to maximize their potential as outlined in the Mission and Vision statements of the school. Homerooms are an integral part of students’ success at ASU. Being a Homeroom Teacher is an important assignment for every educator at ASU.

Goals:

• To ensure that each student at ASU will have at least one teacher who oversees “the big picture” for that student.
• To help each student adapt to and succeed at ASU, by ensuring that each student understands the values, culture and character of this unique school.
• To assist each student with their educational, personal and social growth.
• To provide the home and school with a primary contact for each student.
