SCHOOL BUS RULES ( Монгол хувилбарийг үзэх)
SCHOOL
ASU will arrange bus directions and time managements. The bus will drop off and pick up students in the morning and afternoon from main roads of Ulaanbaatar city.
There will be one supervisor in each bus.
School will manage and organize the bus and provide safety services.
STUDENTS
Students will have a seat before the bus departs.
Students need to show the BUS TICKET to the Driver. Without the ticket, student is not allowed to ride the bus.
Students shall not transfer the ticket to others.
Students are expected to speak in a quite tone of voice and use acceptable language.
No eating or drinking is allowed on the bus.
Students are expected to act in a safe manner by keeping their hands and feet to themselves.
Students are expected to be courteous and respectful towards the bus attendant and fellow students. RUDENESS TO DRIVERS AND ATTENDANTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. The driver will report all matters of misbehavior to the Administrative Assistant, who will take action accordingly. This will involve the administrative assistant calling the parents of child concerned. A second complaint may lead to suspension of bus riding privileges.
All students must carry their Students ID cards at all times.
The changing of clothes on the bus is forbidden. No pets are allowed on the bus.
Dangerous and sharp objects such as pocket knives cannot be carried on the bus. Pencils, pens, toys, etc. should be kept inside school bags.
Students will be at his/her assigned bus stop at least ten (10) minutes before the scheduled bus arrival time.
Students will be dropped off ONLY at the school, their own home or the designated after –school bus drop off points. NO PROVISION CAN BE MADE FOR STUDENTS TAKING FRIENDS HOME WHO NORMALLY TRAVELS ON ANOTHER BUS OR BY CAR.
Students will treat the bus the same as they would furniture in their own home.
Students will cross at least three (3) meter in front of the bus both in the a.m. and p.m. if it is necessary for them to cross the road.
Do not attempt to board the bus after it has begun to move.
PARENTS
Parents are requested to bring their children 10 minutes before scheduled time to the designated bus point.
If the student is NOT at the bus drop-off stop, the student will remain on the bus with the Driver. Parents will have to call the Driver and go to get their child.
Parents should only deal with the ASU Admin office (976-11-348888 or email: info@asu.edu.mn) and not directly with the bus driver or attendant.
If your child will not be using the bus at any time for whatever reason the Bus Driver and the Admin Office must be advised in order to avoid the bus waiting for pick-up and being delayed unnecessarily.
If drivers are continuously kept waiting by certain children, then a report will be made to the ASU Admin office. If the situation continues, parents may be asked to make alternative arrangements.
If the buses fail to turn up within 15 minutes of schedules pick-up time, other than due to rain, snow or ice, parent may claim taxi fare from the admin office by submitting a written claim.
Parents should bear the costs of damage to the bus items caused by their child.
PAYMENT –this is in the form of two semester payments each school year. All invoices and receipts will be issued through the ASU Finance office. Payments must be made within 1 day of date of invoice at the beginning of each semester.
TERMINATION – If a parent wishes to terminate the use of the bus, written notification must be given to the Administrative Assistant at least two weeks prior to the termination date.
When parent terminates the use of bus, 75% of total payment shall be refunded.
No refund will be made for students whom are suspended by the School.
A student may ride one –way if there is room. For one-way trip, the bus charge will be 70% of the full fare. The preference will be given to students using the bus both ways.
An attendant will travel with each bus.
APPLICATION – We require 2 weeks advance notice for all new application. Late submission may result in students not being able to get on the bus on the desired date.
