 Payment

 1. The registration fee is a one-time payment and non-refundable.

2.   ASU Finance office will issue an Invoice.

3.   The tuition fee can be paid on a semester basis:

  • ·         1st semester (29 August, 2011 – 31 January 2012) – Due date is before 22 August, 2011.
  • ·         2nd semester (1 February 2012 – 16 June 2012) – Due date is before 25 January 2012.

Payment can be made: 

  • ·         By cash – to ASU Finance office

  • ·         By Bank Transfer to following bank account
  • ·         Name of the Receiver’s Bank: Trade and Development Bank
  • ·         Name of the Receiver Organization: American School of Ulaanbaatar

4.   Please indicate the Student’s Full Name and Grade on the remittance note to facilitate prompt and accurate recording.

5.  We have a 3% sibling discount offered for the second and third child of the family.

6.   Parents of returning students have to fill out the Re-registration form and pay 300 000 MNT as a deposit that will guarantee placement of their child. This will be deducted from the 1st Semester tuition fee.  This 300 000 MNT fee is non-refundable.

7.   Placement of your child will be guaranteed upon receipt of full payment of fees (registration, book deposit and tuition fee) by the semester due date.

8.   The book deposit is collected to ensure ASU textbooks remain in good condition. Deduction will be made from this book deposit for lost and damaged books

9.   The book deposit fee for Grades 1-6 is 435 000, for Grades 7-12 is increased. Parents must pay the additional amount before textbook can be issued to the students.

10. Parents are to purchase consumable textbooks for Grades 1-3 at the beginning of each school   year, in September.

11. The uniform is compulsory Monday-Thursday.  

  • ·         Primary and Middle school students (Gr. 1- 8 ) will be wearing Red uniform.
  • ·         High school students (Gr. 9 – 12) will be wearing Navy Blue uniform.

 

BUS SERVICE

1.   School will arrange bus directions and time managements. The bus will drop off and pick up students in the morning and afternoon from main roads of Ulaanbaatar city.

2.   The bus fee can be paid on a semester basis:

  • ·         1st semester (22 August, 2011 – 29 January 2012) – Due date is before 25 August, 2011.
  • ·         2nd semester (1 February 2012 – 16 June 2012) – Due date is before 25 January 2012.

3.   Registration for 2-way bus service will be accepted first. If there are remaining spaces on the bus 1-way service applications will be accepted.

 

SCHOOL LUNCH

Lunch is provided for KG – Grade 12. Please provide your child with snack.

 

REFUND POLICIES

1. The Tuition Fee is refundable when a student withdraws from the school. Written notice of withdrawal signed by parents must be submitted to the Admin Office in order to obtain a refund of the tuition fee.

2. The refund will be applied depending on student attendance days:

  •          90% will be applied for 1-10 days;
  •          70% will be applied for 11-35 days;
  •          50% will be applied for 36-60 days. 

      There will be no refund after 61 days. 

3.   The book deposit will be fully refunded if all books and locks are returned in good condition. Deductions will be made for damaged or lost books.

4.   The amount of the refund of bus service   will be 75% for each semester.

5.   No refund will be made for students whom are suspended by the School.
