American School of Ulaanbaatar

The American School of Ulaanbaatar is a private school, owned by A.S.U. Co. Ltd., a corporation registered under the laws of Mongolia

The Shareholders of A.S.U. have appointed an Advisory Board to provide objective advice and support   to the Senior Management of the School.  The Advisory Board makes non binding recommendations and addresses needs that are outside the usual, ongoing operations of the School.

At the request of Senior Management, the Advisory Board may:

• provide advice, insight, input and act as a sounding board for the Faculty’s vision and strategic direcdtions
• evaluate and monitor school policies and procedures
• provide information on the needs and views of the school
• provide feedback and advice on programs and curriculum
• provide a link to businesses, organizations and government
• support development/fundraising efforts
• provide community contacts
• assist in developing alumni relations
• assess post secondary opportunities for graduating students

The Advisory Board is comprised of five individuals who represent the Mongolian community and are members of the international education sector who live abroad.
